Computer Operations Supervisor in Dallas, TX

Primary duties of the Computer Operations Supervisor may include one or more of the following:

Manages the day-to-day activities and personnel of the computer center.

Monitors performance of computing equipment, and coordinates equipment installation and delivery schedules.

Ensures timely completion and integrity of all jobs in order to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Provides technical assistance to system users in resolving computing operations problems and acts as a central point of contact regarding matters affecting area.

All other duties as assigned.

Primary duties of the Computer Operations Manager and Computer Operations Director may include the above duties as well as one or more of the following:

Provides managerial oversight and directs the activities of a large multi-function computer operations (data) center

Establishes and implements ACS computer facilities operating standards

Determines information requirements and makes decisions based on system capacity

Maintains contacts with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors and negotiates contracts for services and/or equipment

Oversees department budget preparation, manages budget process and monitors compliance with budget parameters

Prepares proposals and solicits sales of computer services to outside firms

Assists in new customer pricing, evaluations, and migrations
