This position will be responsible primarily to maintain web-based Self Service Solution for ACS HR clients.
IT SYSTEMS ANALYST JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Participation in customer meetings, Gathering and documenting customer requirements if necessary, Resolving day to day end user problems.
Act as key liaison between product core team, customer and offshore development teams.
Assist with requirements analysis and scope out design capabilities within the product.
Conduct day to day project activities with the customer and project team, participate in status meetings and maintaining status reports, identify and escalate project risk items and issues.
Project requirements gathering, peer review process, test planning, test coordination and execution, etc.
Manage day to day incidents reported by customers.
Communicate with other HRIT/External Vendor teams as needed.
Maintain exceptional customer relations to ensure health and success of the implementation and the continued steady-state environment.
Flexibility work sometimes at offshore time zones when needed.
EDUCATION AND TYPICAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business. 3+ years of job related experience.
Applicants for this position should have an overall understanding of IT systems.
Experienced in J2EE technology with App and Web server layers is required.
Knowledge of Information Technology industry.
Understanding of midrange and client server processing environments and applications.
General business knowledge required. HR Experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with high levels of accountability, and will have demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to manage workload and achieve results with minimal supervision.
The ability to engage virtual teams on complex issues is a MUST.
Strong facilitation, interpersonal and customer skills are needed to interact with client management groups as well as the ability to apply analysis, definition, and documentation for business, system and data processes.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Web Technologies (Java/J2EE)
Database Skills (Oracle/PL SQL or SQL Server)
Project Management Tools (MS Project)
Strong knowledge of web application framework (presentation/middle tier/database layers)
Software SEI/CMMI Development Methodology
HR Domain knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
