Our client is hiring is a full time position for an SAP Business Intelligence (BI) Developer! You will part of a development team responsible to design, build, and implement a Business Intelligence environment utilizing your existing business experience and data warehousing knowledge. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, and development of the Business Intelligence environment and database structures for a large-scale SAP Data Warehouse. This company is recognized as a leader in the Dallas Fort Worth area!
Functional Responsibility:
This position will be performing analysis, building, and implementing various programs, procedures and processes in an SAP BI environment. Candidate should have a solid background in BI presentation (front-end) and back-end knowledge of the SAP BI tool suite. This project will leverage enabling BI technologies to develop a Business Performance Management framework. The successful candidate will have previous experience in designing solutions for Business Intelligence, analytical and report development staffs. Candidates must demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and commitment and must be a self-starter who is motivated to develop a partnership with executives, business users, and various levels of management. Ideal candidate is capable of gaining recognition as an advocate and business champion for various business interests.
This position requires excellent communications skills - both written and oral - and a natural consulting-type background. Candidate must be capable to align business interests and success. Candidates should posses broad business skills and experience driving change.
Technical Skills and Requirements:
- 5+ years Information Technology experience;
- 2+ years SAP BI or SAP BW experience;
- 2+ years business intelligence Development experience
- SAP programming and delivery experience;
- Solid experience with EIS, dashboards, OLAP, scorecards, visualization tools, and portals;
- Experience with SQL, relational database systems tools.
Required:
-- Strong ability to work with business units to formulate business and data requirements.
-- Ability to work with various business users and technical analysts to complete database designs and models.
-- Highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills dedicated to completing tasks on schedule.
-- Experience with other Business Intelligence software (SAS, Cognos, Business Objects, MicroStrategies) applications.
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or Science with a concentration in Computer Science or related discipline.
