Asset Management Consultant in Dallas, TX

Genesis10 is seeking an Asset Management Consultant for a major client in Irving, Texas on a contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you will have good managerial, presentation, executive presence and consultative experience. Ability to design, develop and implement an Asset Management solution in a data center environment. Must have the ability to document requirements and document asset management process and procedures. Able to identify each step in the asset management process. Ability to apply asset management practices to data, transform data requirements, map it and develop comprehensive and understandable procedures. Experience: Required Experience/Skills: - Experience conducting requirements analysis activities to identify criteria for Infrastructure Configuration Items (CI), relationships between CIs. - Experience designing and implementing IT Asset Management processes and tools. - Experience with Change, Release, Problem, Incident, and SLA Management processes and tools. - ITIL certification is preferred, however will consider deep Asset / Configuration Management experience. - Experience developing system architecture diagrams and requirements documents. - Experience developing the CMDB schema logical data models. - Experience with ITIL Asset Management principles. - Proven experience interacting with Infrastructure operation components such as data center operations, Network Management, Database Management, and Storage Management. - Must be able to navigate in a Windows workstation setting, and have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Visio. - Experience with Asset Management tools: Remedy, Asset Center, etc. - Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical.
