Sr. Java Developer in Dallas, TX

Builds application code through the use of paired programming development stations Collaborate with Analysts to clarify functionality in stories and estimate development timeframes Collaborates with Architects to clarify architecture and integration points Collaborates with SMEs as necessary to obtain guidance for development Interacts with resources in other Teams and enterprise programs to obtain necessary foundation and code-base information Troubleshoot issues with custom code base and 3rd party hosting providers Respond to Customer support calls as needed and participate in on-call pager rotation Test, plan, and implement upgrades, bug fixe, and enhancements to community website Experience: Additional Skills: Minimum 4 years development and delivery experience with Java Minimum 4 years of analysis, design, coding and implementation of custom-built web based applications Minimum 2 years experience working with Apache Web server Minimum 2 years experience working with Tomcat Experience developing, customizing, and optimizing client side browser java script preferably jQuery Familiarity with Spring / Hibernate Familiarity with Ant / Maven Experience working with, or an interest in Agile methods, including Extreme Programming (XP), Scrum and iterative development Knowledge of software best practices like test driven development (TDD) and continuous integration Mature interpersonal skills and proven capability to handle multiple situations simultaneously Ability to comprehend high levels of complex details Ability and willingness to tactfully challenge assumptions, and coordinate skilled Team resources to document and communicate concerns Ability to problem-solve in time constrained situations Proven written and verbal communication and presentation skills Solid Customer management ability Detailed, highly organized and time efficient Coordination between multiple project and Customer groups Demonstrated Team leadership skills Please send Word formatted resume.
