C#/.NET Developer in Dallas, TX

Outstanding opportunity for an experienced .NET Web Application Developer with one of our most exciting clients. Responsibilities include working with C#/.NET technologies in order to develop new applications and implement enhancements to existing applications based on specifications. Will provide onsite programming and may be required to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Will be responsible for writing, testing and documenting code and may be responsible for certain portions of the QA and Change Management process. Will also be responsible for adhering to published code standards when writing or modifying programs and will follow client s SDLC methodology. Must have a minimum of five (5) years working experience with Web-enabled platforms, languages and protocols to include: HTML, ASP, VB, VBScript, JavaScript, JSP, J2EE, FTP, SQL (Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle), XML, DHTML, IIS, WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere MQ. Must have a minimum of three (3) years working experience with C#, VB.NET, .NET framework 1.1/2.0/3.5 and Web services. Visual Studio .NET 2003 or 2005 with a strong preference for 2008 needed. Must have knowledge of database design and processing. Must have advanced problem solving skills. Experience with both Windows and UNIX (AIX) operating systems and Client Server architecture, COM/DCOM concepts are desired. Working knowledge of COBOL, IMS and CICS is nice to have US Citizenship required. Must meet security clearance requirement (NACI) for accessing sensitive corporate data.
