Sales Engineer – IT GRC Preferred Location: Scottsdale, AZ or Dallas, TX **Can Be a Virtual Office Position, but will require extensive travel to both Dallas, TX and Phoenix, AZ – 75% travel required** Job Description: · Our client, who is a leading provider of information security products and services, is currently looking for an experienced Sales Engineer with a STRONG GRC background. · Experience in Information Technology Governance, Risk, and Compliance (IT GRC) is a MUST! · Experience in any of the fields of information security, business continuity, business process analysis, or information technology program management considered a plus. · Experience in the implementation of security programs and policies designed to anticipate, assess, and minimize system vulnerabilities. · Ability to review and analyze long-range plans for IT security systems that anticipate, identify, evaluate, mitigate, and minimize risks associated with IT systems vulnerabilities. · Ability to review and evaluate security incident response policies; identify need for changes based on new security technologies or threats; implement policies to ensure awareness and compliance. · Ability to assess impact of security requirements in accordance with regulatory guidance. · Experience in working with implementing or reporting on government guidance and security audit reports for audit and compliances found in NIST SP 800-53, 800-37, 800-100, FIPS 200, Clinger-Cohen Act, SOX, FISMA, PCI, and a good understanding of information security and risk management frameworks such as ISO17799 and ISO27001. Required Skills: · 5+ years of Sales Engineering experience. · Minimum 2 years in Governance or Risk Management. · Experience handling confidential information in a professional manner. · This position requires strong communication skills, both verbal and grammatically-correct written communications. · Additional qualities include: strong inter-personal and presentation skills with the ability to prepare and deliver various forms of VISIO diagrams, reports, correspondence and presentations. · Results oriented, high energy and self motivated. Seeking candidate with high Integrity, honesty, and is goal-oriented and a dedicated team player. · Provide technical support in sales/product presentations, product positioning and product demonstrations. · Build proof of concept report templates based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the product. · Understand the requirements of a project from scoping, expectation setting, requirements gathering, customer signoff, general project planning, and customer success / failure reports. · Discover the business drivers from various levels and determine how they map to the issues at the operational side. · Communicate relevant information to the customer so they can see the value in the solution. · Represent the company at trade shows and other lead-generation events. · Record customer information into C.R.M. data base (SalesLogix). · This position will report to the Director of Sales Engineering. · Travel required – in upwards of 75%. · This position is open to other locations, but prefer Scottsdale, Arizona or Dallas, TX. Required Experience: · Experience with Apache TomCat, JAVA HTTP Web Server, version 6, Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and Firefox desired. · BA or BS degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience is desired. · Relevant certifications considered a plus * CISSP, CISM, CISA, CGEIT, SSCP, CAP, GIAC, etc. To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
