Thompson Technologies is seeking a Senior Solaris Engineer with a strong background in Cisco Wireless (CDMA or GSM) for our client in the Dallas, TX and in the New York City metro area. The ideal candidates will have 10 years of experience in Solaris (through Solaris 10) and have strong knowledge of Checkpoint and with specific experience with hands-on hardware installation, troubleshooting and working with SUN representatives. Candidates must also have a strong consulting background and be very comfortable with interfacing with high level personnel at end clients. Experience with Cisco Switches/load balancers, CDMA network service architectures and Oracle 10g are required for this position.The duration of this contract is project to be 14 months.
