Business Systems Analyst
This position is responsible for gathering and defining requirements for the implementation of ITIL service management applications. This includes working with clients, process owners, and developers to deliver a solution which meets the business needs. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years overall IT experience with at least 1 year of hands on development experience on an application development team. Position level is dependent on candidate’s level of experience.
Primary Experience:
2+ years experience as a business/systems analyst required (gap analysis, lead scope sessions, requirements documentation, UAT/Test Case documentation, providing tool demonstrations, leading presentations, etc.)
1+ years programming experience preferred
Demonstrated analytical thinking, adaptability, enthusiasm and motivation
Strong understanding of ITIL Service Management processes preferred
Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
UAT/Test plan development
End User Training
TQM, Six Sigma
1+ years Remedy ITSM 6.0+ experience preferred
1+ years Business Objects reporting experience preferred
Secondary Experience:
BMC Remedy experience preferred
Business Objects experience preferred
Flex/Java/WebLogic experience preferred
Oracle, SQL Server preferred
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or related discipline.
