We are seeking a Senior Oracle DBA and Performance Tuning specialist to help with build out, and tune, next generation of VPR using Oracle 11G in AIX/Linux environment.
Additional responsibilities may include analysis, development, test and implementation of database designs in support of corporate and client area technology requirements. Performs data modeling, logical and physical database design. Includes maintenance of database dictionaries, monitoring of standards and procedures, access methods and time, validation checks, organization and statistical methods. Responsible for data loading, security, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning, and backup and recovery. Executes database software installation, database creations/configurations and loads.
Experience: Oracle 11G Adminstration, Oracle Performance Tuning, Financial Industry (Accounting -Fund /Investment accounting) experience, Communication (ability to lead discussions with Modelers, AD developers), Advanced AIX/LINUX skills
