Dallas, Texas Description The systems are IBM Blades and IBM System x (Intel-based) Servers as well as NetApp and IBM storage (DS8300).The software and main focus is in on Redhat Linux (Enterprise 4 AS). A good systems administrator with Linux is key. Storage experience with NetApp a big plus. Will support Linux Cluster at client site. The work to be performed as a part of the services includes the following for the production environment: 1. System operations and maintenance2. Proactive problem identification and avoidance3. Reactive problem management (issue detection and resolution)4. System/application performance monitoring.5. System/application optimization.6. Coordination with core application suppliers.The system is to consist of the following: 1. Blade Center H (with Cisco Gigabit fiber network modules) & Blade server HS21 X series 37552. DS8300 San Storage3. NAS gateways4. TotalStorage SAN switches5.
