Network Engineering NOC in Dallas, TX

Night Shift Required. 3 x 11 hours + 1 7 hours shift including a Sat. or Sunda. REsponsible for monitoring/administering managed IDS detectors and security events on operation consoles. Evaluate type/severity of events, take corrective action/esacalation. Understand customer network traffic patterns/characteristics to evaluate security events for false positives and suspicious events. Work w/research teams to evaluate tickets and determine appropriate corrective action.l Provicde phone/email support to cusotmers including opening trouble tickets for incoming questions. Maintain project tracking systems/AUP management systems. Monitor, audit and test systems/networks for security problems. Test/install patches for security vulnerabilities in vendor software.
