Retail Development Manager in Dallas, TX

An International Retail company is in need for a Retail Development Manager to manage the development and maintenance of Time and Attendance and Pricing systems. This manager is responsible for managing and executing the support and maintenance activities for the Time and Attendance Management system and the Item-Price Management system. The ideal candidate will have Kronos and Retek experience , but comparative products will absolutely be acceptable for this role. The qualified candidate's minimum capabilities include good understanding and experience with software development methodology, COTS packages implementation, managing multiple internal and external resources, defining project schedules, managing budgets, and deploying scheduled software releases. In addition, the candidate should have a good working knowledge of project management methodologies and the development and maintenance of enterprise applications. Ideal candidate will have their BA degree Business, CIS, MIS or CS. MBA is preferred. Qualifications and Requirements: - 6+ years of management experience with enterprise systems development and maintenance - Prior experience in implementing and managing time and attendance systems (preferably Kronos) - Prior experience in implementing and managing Retail pricing and merchandising systems (preferably Retek) - Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle process - Experience with systems integration of COTS packages and custom built applications - Good understanding of the retail operations and fulfillment processes - merchandising, inventory management, replenishment planning, labor scheduling and management, and supply chain - Excellent verbal and written communications skills Preferred Skills: - Prior experience in implementing inventory management and warehouse management systems - Familiarity with retail POS systems - Familiarity with EAI technologies such as WebMethods, BEA Weblogic This is a fabulous company to join!
