Excellent opportunity for a project manager in a challenging role with one of out leading clients. The overall purpose of the job is to be accountable for delivery projects within schedule and within budget. Will assist in providing application solutions, estimation and proposal development collaborating with business project managers and business users.
Position requires 7-10 years of overall experience with at least 3-5 years of full life cycle management of projects. Need a minimum of 1 year experience in delivering full life cycle projects utilizing offshore resources. Will manage project(s) scope and ensure proper escalation for issues/risks; manages day-to-day activities on projects; manage, reports and monitors issues, Change Control etc. Energy Utilities experience needed. Prefer a technical background in either Java or .NET platform with an understanding of various technologies and their leverage potential within an organization. Energy trading, risk knowledge is a big plus as is knowledge in ZaiNet, Lodestar, nMarket etc.
