Outstanding opportunity for a Test Engineer. Primary responsibilities will consist of organizing and leading automated regression test projects associated with various application development initiatives within the Technology Department. Will independently execute each step of the automation test cycle, including startup, planning, execution and reporting. In addition, will train and mentor other members of the Automation Test Team in aspects of the selected test tool and automated testing in order to augment Team member skill levels.
Position requires 5+ years experience in application analysis & programming with 3+ years Java Programming and 5+ years experience in automated regression test design. Also need strong experience with Oracle database analysis and programming with 2+ years experience in network or database engineering. 5+ years experience in requirements gathering and 4+ years experience in independently leading and organizing automation projects required. 3+ years experience with Open Source Testing Tools (e.g. Fitnesse, Jameleon, ABBOT, Canoo WebTest, Eclipse TPTP, SAFS, WebInject) needed and strong experience on a UNIX platform (SUN, csh, ksh, Exceed). Need 4+ years experience with the WinRunner Test Tool, Quick Test Professional Tool (QTP) and 3+ years experience with Test Director Tool. Must work well in a Team environment. Must be able to communicate effectively and persuasively with development Teams regarding approaches and options in automated regression testing. Must work within CTD test processes and methods and be able to integrate those processes into the development life cycles of projects in motion. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as necessary to support project goals.
