We are currently looking for a BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYSIS SPECIALIST to join our team in. * This is a 100% travel position. Job Responsibilities: The Cerner Clinical Systems Analyst must work effectively with multiple implementation team members, including project managers, designers, business analysts, clinical laboratory team leads and operations team leads. Participate in clinical systems design and architecture supporting best-practice solutions, implementing solutions according to the project plan and project timelines. Participate in standardized enterprise design, documentation, database build, clinical validation and development and functional testing of Cerner Millennium Pathnet Solution. Participate in the development/execution of detailed implementation plans in conjunction with other account team associates. Will identify, classify and document project meetings, project issues and design decisions in accordance with Perot Systems Project Management Methodology. Project team members will actively participate in issues resolution, training or process re-design. Will recommend best practice solutions in partnership with client and Cerner Corporation project team members. Project team members will participate in development of standardized order catalog, nomenclature, clinical forms, flow sheets, MDI instrument interfaces, foreign system interfaces (FSI), QC and QA. Develop and test clinical rules as required to support laboratory operations. Select or create appropriate scenarios to test all results (normal/abnormal) for use in end-user acceptance testing. Participate with Client's Domain experts in developing training material and teaching/end user training for new technology Participate in conversion and post-conversion product support and assist project leads as required. Required Skills: Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skill sets Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple project teams and clients in a healthcare environment Healthcare Experience in a Laboratory Setting required. Working knowledge of day to day laboratory workflow, including experience in one or more of the following functional areas: General Laboratory, Anatomic Pathology, Microbiology and Transfusion services. Anatomic Pathology General laboratory instrumentation, specimen collections, quality control. Regulatory requirements related to laboratory licensing and operations including AABB and CAP guidelines. Desired Skills: Other Cerner applications CPOE implementation Rules / Alerts Project Management experience Clinical background Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials: Clinical certification / lab tech This is a 100% travel position.
