Functional Tester in Dallas, TX

Excellent opportunity for a Functional Tester in a long-term assignment with one of our leading clients. Position will involve interaction with developers in identifying system defects prior to code migration. Will communicate testing strategy & results with management, the client and other service lines. Position requires System Test Planning and Execution experience. Experience with formal Test Plan Development and formal testing procedures, success criteria measurements and issue reporting required. Detail knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle and how it relates to iterative testing and development required. Must have a background with systems consisting of an integrated architecture of multiple technologies across multiple environments, maintained by a distributed work force. Experience working on Enterprise-Wide Capitalized projects needed. Utility Billing experience is a plus.
