Interaction Designer in Dallas, TX

* Create deliverables such as layouts, prototypes, graphical assets, multi-media assets, and specifications for design implementation. * Work with fellow designers, to create a design strategy and to work towards a consistent look and feel with the diverse JCP customer touchpoints. "* Generate creative interactive and visual solutions that work within technical limitations, for implementation on and other interactive user interfaces. " * Manage design projects including estimating work effort, identifying requirements, and prioritizing tasks. * Present design goals and concepts to a variety of different audiences (from the team members to senior executives). * Assist with generating new feature concepts for user research and validation. Additional requirements: Education: BA, BFA, or advanced degree in graphic design, interaction design, computer graphics, or a related field. Experience: A minimum of 5 years' professional experience designing and developing interactive media and user interfaces for product software and web applications. Proficiency with interactive multimedia and graphics design tools such as Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Flash, HTML/XML, Dreamweaver, and InDesign. Core Competencies: A strong knowledge base of web technology and human-interaction balanced with creativity. Maintains high level of urgency and managing in an environment of immediacy and high visibility. Demonstrate ability to lead and manage projects; a track record of innovative aesthetic and technical design solutions; ability to achieve results working through and with others; able to manage effectively in situations of multiple priorities with a strong bias for action/urgency. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Comfort level with rapid change and fast pace. Occasional domestic travel is required.
