Genesys Developer/Engineer in Dallas, TX

Our client, is a leading software developer corporation with the highest transaction volumes in the world. They are seeking an exceptional Genesys Developer/Engineer to join their team in the Dallas metropolitan area.

Job Responsibilities:

Develops, codes, tests and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software within the Genesys framework.

Works with technical staff and business team to understand problems with software and resolve them.

Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs.

Builds custom reporting within the Genesys framework to optimize call center operations.

Best candidate will have extensive prior experience working with the Genesys framework and Oracle database to produce call center reporting and analytics.

Deep knowledge of Genesys Enterprise Routing is required with experience in environments that use both queue and skills-based routing.

Candidate should demonstrate the ability to support day-to-day operations in a complex global call center environment using the Genesys suite of products.

Solid understanding of IVR, CTI, ACD and workforce management tools is essential.

Experience: Required Skills:

5+ years experience in telecommunications

3+ years experience in programming on enterprise systems preferred with 2 or more years of closely related Call Center Technology Systems Engineering experience.

Experience in Genesys Framework and troubleshooting.

Genesys Enterprise Routing (Queue-based and Skills-based environments) and CTI integration.

Advanced Genesys reporting knowledge.

Experience with Oracle 9i/10g, data modeling, SQL, optimization.

Demonstrated experience supporting Genesys CTI from a day to day Operations perspective in a complex call center environment.

Have an advanced understanding of IVR and telephony interfaces to CTI systems.

Experience with Aspect and Avaya ACD technology.

Understanding of telephony environment as a whole (ACD, IVR, Genesys, Oracle, UNIX, voice network, etc.)

Telecommunications voice network PBX /ACD.

Working knowledge of Microsoft s desktop applications suite, UNIX.

Ability to design, develop and implement complex call routing applications involving multiple ACD systems and peripherals.

Strong programming and SQL database background combined with reporting and analytics for the above systems.

Strong knowledge of contact center operations, tools and applications that may include resource forecasting/scheduling, monitoring and real-time reporting systems.
