Our Dallas Client is looking for a Senior .Net Developer:
The role will fall under the Back Office Development Team, primarily supporting new initiatives which are intended to facilitate a more dynamic and efficient trading environment. The Back Office Development Team is one of several structured teams within the Development area that each follow independent prioritization and release schedules. The Back Office Development Team adheres to a structured development cycle including the clear documentation of system requirements, documentation of functional and technical system design, and rigorous unit and end user testing. Recent examples of system initiatives include the development of new server capabilities to deliver improved real-time transaction updates to the firm, implementation of a 3rd party application to deliver enhanced trade compliance validation, development and deployment of automated daily P&L reporting, and development of a custom security transfer application.
Required Job Skills
Technical
Experience acting as an application architect
5+ years C#/.NET development experience preferably with a financial services provider
3+ years of Microsoft SQL Server development experience (T-SQL, query design and optimization, stored procedure development)
Experience working with very large SQL databases
Experience working with TIBCO messaging
Experience with Geneva RSL is a plus (not required)
General
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience leading small teams or projects
Openness to working with both custom and third party applications
Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing business environment
Ability to manage through competing priorities and a diverse task load
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
