Our Client is looking for Software Developers in several areas:

Successful candidates have a demonstrated track record of educational, professional, and personal achievement. He or she has an undergraduate or graduate Computer Science degree from a top-tier university and a deep understanding of the subject. Financial experience is not a prerequisite, but an interest in the application of technology to investment management is a must. Candidates should also have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of the difference between working smart and working hard.

The Client's developers are organized into small teams with independent prioritization and release schedules. You will work directly with end users in a fast-paced, rewarding environment where technology makes an immediate impact. Groups have the autonomy of small teams but the support structure of a larger development organization including automated nightly builds, automated regression testing, etc. Our Client valuea excellent analytical skills and innovative problem solving approaches. A very flat organizational structure allows for the opportunity to migrate across teams and broaden your business knowledge and experience. Our Client builds software on the Windows platform with a C++/MFC legacy base. New systems are built in C#.





Real-time Market Data Engineer

Market data expert to build high performance, reliable market data distribution architecture:


Experience with equity, option and futures market data from US, European and Asian exchanges
Experience developing low-latency feed handlers for direct and aggregated exchange feeds
Analyzing and validating quote and trade data and order book data
Exposure to the application of statistical techniques for data validation
Experience with ticker plant and tick database technologies
Comprehensive experience with C/C++ programming languages


Quantitative Developer

Quantitative developer to build automated trading platform:


Experience implementing high performance automated trading engines for order slicing, position sizing, and hedging
Experience implementing trading strategy models for automated benchmark and statistical arbitrage trading
Exposure to quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring trading transaction costs
Experience mining and researching intra-day data on prices, volatility and liquidity to model and predict short-term market behavior
Comprehensive experience with C++, C# or Java


Financial Software Engineer

Architect, design and develop financial applications using agile development methodologies to rapidly solve business problems.


Deep understanding of (soft) real-time systems, distributed systems, SOA, and GUIs
Knowledge of OO design concepts and software design patterns is a must.
Experience developing on the Microsoft Windows platform with Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 and 2005 is required.
Programming languages: Visual C++, C#, and the .Net Framework


Financial Data Engineer

Help us build a new historical data repository using the latest Microsoft Business Intelligence product suite.


Experience working with very large [multi-terabyte] databases
Skilled at data modeling, query design and optimization, stored procedures
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 / DTS / T-SQL
Working knowledge of BI & OLAP using the Microsoft Business Intelligence product suite (2005): Dimensional data modeling and UDM, ETL using Integration Services (SSIS),Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Data Mining

Web Application Developer

Use the latest Web 2.0 technologies to create a state of the art user experience for our next generation financial data portal.


An understanding of OO design and development techniques
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 and 2005
Development using C# and ASP .Net 2.0
Use of AJAX and ATLAS to create highly functional and visually appealing pages SOA, SQL, and ADO .Net experience is highly desirable
